Q. How often and for how long should I use the reVive Blue?
We recommend using the system for three minutes twice a day on affected areas until your acne has cleared. Place system head in contact with the affected area and hold the unit still over treatment area. After three minutes move unit to the next treatment area. Do not cover the ventilation holes with clothing or other objects. The unit will automatically shut off if it gets too hot.
Q. How do I use the reVive Blue?
First insert the blue head onto the reVive Blue handle by lining up the notches (small notch should be at the top of the handle) then turning the head to the right to lock in place. Insert the power supply and push the “on” button (located on the front of the handle). Do not cover ventilation holes on the back of the system with clothing or other objects as this may increase the skin’s surface temperature and the system will shut off if the temperature is too warm.
Should I wear eye protection when using the reVive Blue?
Blue light is suspected of causing macular degeneration, so yes, goggles should be worn when using the device near your eyes. A pair of goggles is included with the system.
When should I start seeing results using the reVive Blue?
Everyone’s skin and degree of acne is different so the results that are achieved will vary from person to person. Some have seen results after 3 to 5 days of consecutive treatments. Depending on the severity of acne, it could take longer to see results. With reoccurring acne flare-ups we suggest returning to the original treatment of 3 minutes twice daily on affected areas.
